The 5 best hyper casual games!
Ok, ok - it is difficult to determine the "best" hypercasual games, and very subjective too, as different people have different preferences when it comes to what they enjoy playing.
That being said, some of the most succesful hypercasual games in recent years, which have made this sub genre widely known and popular, have included the ones below. We'll cover their mechanics and reasons for success, if you to try them out you will be able to find for iOS and Android phones!
Color Switch
A game in which the player must tap the screen to guide a ball through obstacles that are the same color as the ball. Super simple, but very, very catchy!
Paper.io
A game in which the player must control a cursor to claim territory and defend against other players. If you haven't tried this one with your friends, you're definitely missing out!
Helix Jump
A game in which the player must guide a ball down a helix-shaped structure by swiping the screen to avoid obstacles. Pick it up, and you won't be able to stop playing for ages, guaranteed!
Aqua Park
A game in which the player must guide a character through a water park by swiping the screen to avoid obstacles. You might know this one from their aggressive and persistent ad campaigns, though very effective in bringing in so many new players to the game.
Don't Tap The White Tile
A game in which the player must tap the screen to play piano tiles, but must avoid tapping the white tiles. This one is for the fast reflex addicted players out there ;) definitely a challenge!
It's worth noting that these games are just a few examples of the many hypercasual games that are available, and there are many other highly popular games in this genre as well.
